Material guide

Which flexible packaging material fits your product?

A short, practical guide to the films and laminates we work with. If you are unsure, send your product details or your current packaging sample and we will recommend a structure.

OPP

Oriented Polypropylene

Stiff with very high clarity. The go-to for crisp, self-adhesive retail bags where buyers want to see the product clearly.

Apparel, accessories and retail visibility packs.

CPP

Cast Polypropylene

Softer and more flexible than OPP, with reliable heat-seal behaviour. Often used on its own and as the sealant layer inside laminates.

Hanger and perforated bags, everyday food, lamination sealant.

PE

Polyethylene

Flexible and tough with strong, consistent seals. A practical, cost-effective choice for high-volume everyday packaging.

Bakery, grocery, dry food and protective bags.

PET

Polyester

Strong and dimensionally stable, and an excellent print carrier. Usually the outer layer in a laminate structure.

Outer layer of high-barrier pouches and roll stock.

PET+CPP / PET+PP

High-Barrier Laminates

Multi-layer structures that combine a printable PET outer with a sealable PP inner for strong barrier against oxygen, moisture and aroma loss.

Coffee, supplements, premium snacks and pet food.

ALU

Aluminium Laminates

Adds the highest light and oxygen barrier. Chosen when shelf life and protection from light are critical.

Light- and oxygen-sensitive food and powders.

BOPP

Biaxially Oriented PP (roll)

Stiff, clear roll-stock film tuned for machinability on automated lines.

VFFS/HFFS line input and flow-wrap.

MET-PET

Metalized PET (roll)

A metalized layer delivers high barrier at lower cost than full aluminium, often as an inner liner.

Barrier liners for confectionery and snacks.
